Crain Heavy-Duty Jamb Saw

Crain's model 825 Jamb Saw is the big brother of the 555 model. Use it to to make undercuts along the walls, door jambs and even in toe spaces. The adjustable height of the blade allows for cuts to be made to fit any installation needs.

Ardex Feather Finish

Ardex Feather Finish can be used for filling in gaps, gouges, ridges and depressions to help smooth out virtually any type of subfloor that you need to work on.

Application is simple; one full 10lb bag should be mixed with 2.5 quarts of water and you're ready to go. Remember that it has a 15-20 minute pot life, so only mix prior to use. If you don't need a whole bag for a job, then mix 2 parts powder to 1 part water.

One bag can roughly cover up to 16.7sq ft at 1/4" or up to 33.3sq ft at 1/8".

72" x 72" Shower Tray

Looking to build that 6' x 6' walk-in tile shower of your dreams?  Instead of pouring your own mortar bed, make life easier with the 72" x 72" Shower Tray by ProVa Shower Systems, and available on Carpetstretcher.net. 

The 72" Tray is made out of a durable condensed styrofoam that won't break-down over time. This tray can be cut down to size in order to make a custom size shower or a neo-angle shower base. If you are cutting this tray down, make sure you try to cut even amounts off of opposite sides in order to maintain the pitch of the shower base.  Each shower base is perfectly pitched at a 1/4" per foot for water drainage.

The 72" Shower Tray comes as a 12 piece kit that is easily assembled. The 72" Pan is installed directly to the subfloor with a modified thinset, without the use of vinyl or PVC liners. The shower assembly can be completed using a minimum of 1/4" x 3/8" and up to 3/8" x 3/8" square or U-notched trowel.

Aqua Shield is a waterproofing membrane created by Blanke. This is an easy to install product that can be used to help waterproof showers. You can find Aqua Shield waterproofing membrane on Carpetstretcher.net.

This is an ideal product to use if you are using a cement board, Aqua Shield will ensure a leak proof shower installation. The installation of the membrane is very easy; simply apply the membrane with a thinset and soon after you can tile over the waterproofing membrane with your thinset mortar.
