Carpetstretcher.net is proud to offer a full line of Carpet and Flooring Straight Edge Tools by Crain.  Carpet installers know the importance of using the right tool in order to get the job done the right way.  A proper straight edge ensures that the carpet will be cut perfectly straight for preping your carpet seam edges, and we have three different sizes to choose from.

The 4' Crain Carpet Straight Edge measures 4' x 3" x 1/8".  Made of steel, this 4' straight edge has an angled head, and is guaranteed to be within +/- .005" at the time of sale.  Each straight edge is properly tested before shipment, giving you peace of mind that you are purchasing high quality items. The 4 footer also includes a red painted coat to help prevent rust.

The 6' Crain Carpet Straight Edge is also guaranteed to be straight within +/- .005" at the time of sale.  Much like the 4 footer, the 6 footer has a 45-degree angled head and is painted red to prevent rusting.  The 6 footer has dimensions of 6' x 3" x 1/8".

Finally, the 75"Crain Combo Straight Edge features two flooring tools in one. It has one straight side, and one serpent side, which makes it useable for resilient, and carpet installations. The straight edge is 75" in length, the longest straight edge we have available on Carpetstretcher.net.
