Calcium Chloride Test Kit

The Calcioum Chloride Test may be known as the dome test to some; the dome test is a way to measure the amount of moisture emitted from the surface of a concrete slab.  It takes roughly a period of 60-72 hours to run these tests. For new construction, ASTM requires 3 tests for the first 1000 square feet and one test for each additional 1000 square feet.

Prior to installing any flooring products, you should make sure that the area is free of alkaline salts and high levels of carbonation. So, also included with every moisture test is an Alkalinity pH test to help you determine the surface pH levels. To find out more, click here.
