GreenSeel is a waterproofing membrane and tile underlayment that is completely waterproof and acts as a crack isolation membrane for tile coverings.  GreenSeel is a ready to use product as well.  Unlike most other roll on membranes that require mixing, multiple coats, and seam tapes, GreenSeel requires none of the above.  Open up the bucket, grab a trowel, brush, or paint roller, and start applying.  Log onto Carpetstretcher.net to check out how easy it is.

  1. A good waterproofing membrane needs to provide a waterproof barrier but it must also cope with expected movement. This type of movement, such as that at joints and junctions, can easily be accommodated with bond breakers. They allow the membrane to stretch rather than snap, taking advantage of the elastic property of the material.
